Name of the scholarship: King Abdulaziz Scholarship
Brief about scholarship:
The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia offers scholarships every year to outstanding students from various countries of the world. This comes in line with the growing attention and support given by the kingdom to the dissemination of knowledge and scientific research, as part of its multiple contributions to scientific and cultural communication world widely, in foster of the advancement of human civilization.
Scholarship covers:
Full tuition fee waived off
Free Health insurance
Free accomodation
Free food
A monthly bursary of SR 900 (240USD)
Free return ticket annualy
A monthly bursary SR 1000 (266USD)(a research assistant without summer time ) ,the contact applies for one semester only between the Deanship of Graduate Studies and the student and in case of the two parties’ desire to contract for another semester.
A preparation allowance when coming for the first time of SR 1,800. (480USD)
A total sum of SR 4,000 for PhD, and SR 3.000 for masters’ allowance for printing the thesis.
An allowance of SR 2,700 for shipping books (when graduated).
Documents required:
Curriculum Vitae for the applicant.
Statement of Purpose Must be in English for all programs except in Islamic Studies and Arabic Language.
A copy of graduation certificate (certified from Saudi Embassy).
A copy of transcript (certified from Saudi Embassy).
Recommendation letters should be submitted from two of his former professors. Check Samples (How to write a Recommendation Letter)
A copy of a valid passport at least one year.

Twice in a year
