Name of the scholarship: National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Scholarship

Brief about scholarship:

The National and Kapodistrian University of Athens offers six (6) Merit Scholarships to students who wish to pursue the “BA program in the Archaeology, History, and Literature of Ancient Greece”, starting in fall.

Scholarship covers:

University looking for students who are highly motivated and committed, and will benefit from our support to fully develop their potential. These Excellence Awards are offered for the first year of this program, in order to assist high caliber individuals who have a strong motivation to develop their studies in the Ancient Greek History and Culture. A single payment of the amount of Eur 10000 will be made to the students who will be selected, but there will be no exemption from their financial obligations towards the program, including tuition fees, accommodation expenses in Athens, bank account commitments for a residence permit, etc.

4. Transcript for the last two years of secondary school in your country (original and English translation)

5. English language certificate (IELTS or TOEFL)

Name of the scholarship: Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship

Brief about scholarship:

The Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship is awarded to recognise academic excellence for international students. This highly competitive scholarship is based on academic merit and awarded to future applicants.

Scholarship covers:

This scholarship provides up to AUD $10,000 applied towards tuition fee.

Procedure for the scholarship:

Applicants must complete an online course application form. Once your course application has been processed, you will receive a Macquarie University Student Number which is compulsory to submit the online scholarship application form. 
Applicants must complete an online scholarship application form and type “VCIS” in the Scholarship Name field.

Name of the scholarship: 2019 – 2023 Azerbaijan Government Program Scholarship for PhD

Brief about scholarship:

In order to strengthen the academic capacity of Azerbaijani higher education institutions, it is the priority of the DP Scholarship to provide training for doctoral students at the world’s top universities. To apply to scholarship, you must obtain admission from a university, which must be in the top 500 according to the Times Higher Education.

Scholarship covers:

Name of the scholarship: UNSW Scholarship

Brief about scholarship:

 UNSW offers a wide range of Scholarships and Awards to support International undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students commencing full-time study at UNSW. Students wishing to undertake postgraduate research study should contact the Graduate Research School. Some scholarships will provide a full or partial tuition fee payment, while others provide a stipend to assist with the costs associated with your studies.

Scholarship covers:

International Scientia Coursework Scholarship (PUCA1025),
Offer 1: Full tuition fee scholarships paid directly towards tuition fees for the minimum duration of program
Offer 2: $20,000 per annum paid directly towards tuition fees for the minimum duration of program
UNSW Undergraduate or Postgraduate coursework program (excluding PG online and UNSW Canberra)

Name of the scholarship: Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Aquaculture, Environment and Society Plus (EMJMD ACES\ACES+)

Brief about scholarship:

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Aquaculture, Environment and Society Plus (EMJMD ACES+) will give you a unique opportunity to study in up to four centres of European excellence in aquaculture research and learning; Scotland, Crete, France and the Netherlands. It will also allow you to gain the practical and theoretical skills needed for a successful career in aquaculture through industry-led research programmes, internships and fieldwork.

Eligibility requirements:

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in AquaCulture, Environment and Society (EMJMD ACES+) is open to students who meet the following minimum conditions: Bachelor degree (or equivalent; second class or higher at Honours level) in one of the fields of biological or environmental sciences. An appropriate background could include; aquaculture-related studies, marine science and/or resources, aquatic biology, biology, or environmental sciences linked to the field of marine science and fisheries; and

For non-UK students, a Secure English Language Test (i.e. IELTS) certificate (applicants must achieve an overall score of 6.5 in this test and a minimum of 6.0 in all four components). Please note, if IELTS test centres in your country remain closed due to COVID-19, then we recommend you take the LanguageCert International Communicator ESOL B2. This test can be done online and you should not be required to do another IELTS test in the event travel bans are lifted or IELTS test centres re-open.

We particularly welcome applications from mature students and/or those with practical working experience in the aquaculture industry.

English Language Requirements:

If English is not your first language, then you must have;

a Secure English Language Test (SELT), i.e. IELTS Academic qualification. Please note, if you have taken an IELTS test on or after 6 April 2015 it will only be considered a SELT if it is was taken at an approved test centre and is an ‘IELTS test for UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) purposes’. This test will have a ‘UKVI number’ on the results certificate. The IELTS must be taken as an academic test.
