Name of the scholarship: International Scholarships for Non-Canadians

Brief about scholarship:

 Following the launch of the new International Education Strategy, Global Affairs is pleased to introduce the Canadian Scholarship Program for Canadian Education. The program will provide up to two years of postgraduate study with a diploma, secondary or postgraduate degree, or a master’s degree from a university, technical or vocational school or university in Canada. The Study in Canada Scholarship program is open to students in all subjects.

 

Scholarship covers:

Funding for education in Canada is provided by law worldwide by Canada: Department of Foreign Documentation, Trade and Development (DFATD).

An ultra-high school institution from Canada, DFATD is responsible for trade and commerce relations with a substance for reliable and temporary development.

Scholarships vary depending on the duration, level, and program of study.

Less than 60,000 for a CAD lasting a minimum of 8 months and a maximum of 12 months per academic year

At a distance of 120,000 CAD to last a maximum of 24 months

Provision of a non-student program or semester (e.g., summer) scholarship to complete the program.

If it is better added to what is received by the DFATD, it can help those who are related to Discipline after coming to Canada if they are followed in Canada and the owner structure.

Documents required:

Citizenship / identity document: a copy of the candidate’s passport or official identity document with a valid date. Note: driver’s license, permanent residence card, student card certificate are not accepted as proof of citizenship. The citizenship / identity country / territory selected in the online application form must be the same as the country / territory confirming citizenship / identity.

Letter of intent from high school: A letter from a Canadian secondary school in English or French explaining: i) the rationale for the nomination; the school’s international relations and internationalization goals, and iii) how the candidate’s research will contribute to the development of relations between the recipient’s country / territory and Canada (maximum one page). See the “Selection Process” for more information on the criteria to be used to evaluate applications.

Admission letter: a letter confirming the candidate’s admission to the educational program.

Academic curriculum: the content of the educational program proposed by the candidate for the scholarship period provided by the host organization. The plan for the two-year program should indicate that a full-time study or other academic activity required to complete the program will occur from time to time during the spring / summer period / semester.

CV: curriculum reflecting the individual characteristics of the proposed candidate.

Budget: An accurate and detailed budget that shows how the pension will be used to cover the candidate’s relevant expenses (eg, education, living expenses, health insurance).

Declaration of Confidentiality: A copy of the Declaration of Confidentiality signed and signed by the candidate for non-Canadian participants.

Name of the scholarship: Vanier Canadian Alumni Scholarships

Brief about scholarship:

There are three equal evaluation criteria for eligibility: academic excellence, research potential, and leadership

Candidates must be nominated by the Canadian Institute in which they wish to study.

Each year, about 200 students receive the scholarship to study at the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, the University of Waterloo, the University of Alberta, and about 100 other institutes.

Scholarship covers:

It covers $ 50,000 over 3 years for doctoral education

Criteria for the scholarship:

Academic excellence, showing your previous academic results, writings, scholarships, awards, and differences.

Your research history, your interest in research, your proposed research and field knowledge, and your research potential to advance the expected results. Your research experience and impact show your potential as a research leader of tomorrow.

In your Personal Leadership Statement essays, you should write about your personal qualities such as critical thinking, knowledge application, judgment, originality, initiative, autonomy, and enthusiasm for research. You must have strong references to confirm this.

In addition, your achievements in terms of cooperation, teamwork and mentoring will be counted for your contribution to the research and training of highly qualified personnel.

Leadership

Your personal achievement: This includes your participation and achievements in entrepreneurship, business, science, sports, art, travel or education.

Your participation in academic life: This includes mentoring / teaching or supervising experience, student community, student committee, teams, senate, board, etc., organization of conferences, events and seminars, achievements in your academic or professional role. societies and project management.

Experience as a volunteer in social projects in some NGOs.

There are other ways you can demonstrate your leadership skills.

You will be assessed on a variety of leadership attributes, including your ability to identify meaningful change for the community or group you work for, set clear goals, and achieve them effectively, organizedly, and innovatively, as well as your ability to develop an individual vision for the future. You are responsible for the consequences of your actions and decisions, and your interest, creativity, courage, complexity, persuasiveness, peer and presentation skills, and communication skills are important.

Name of the scholarship: 2019 – 2023 Azerbaijan Government Program Scholarship for PhD

Brief about scholarship:

In order to strengthen the academic capacity of Azerbaijani higher education institutions, it is the priority of the DP Scholarship to provide training for doctoral students at the world’s top universities. To apply to scholarship, you must obtain admission from a university, which must be in the top 500 according to the Times Higher Education.

Scholarship covers:

 -education expenses;

 – visa and registration fees in the country of study;

 – monthly living expenses;

 – health insurance costs;

 – international transport costs.

Name of the scholarship: University of Waterloo International Master Scholarship

Brief about scholarship:

 Eligible students must enroll in a full-time research master’s program at the University of Waterloo and have a valid study permit in Canada. Students must meet the academic progress requirements of the programs and must not sponsor or award foreign awards, a scholarship award (e.g., PSI or Lazaridis Education Awards), or fund themselves in excess of the minimum doctoral funding value.

Scholarship covers:

 As of May 1, 2020, the cost of IMSA is $ 2,565 / term, which is about half of the educational gap between full-time local doctoral students and international doctoral students.

Application Period:

It is applied 3 times a year.
