Name of the scholarship: Eiffel International Scholarship

Brief about scholarship:

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program is an opportunity for the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to attract the best foreign students to French universities for admission to master’s and doctoral programs.

Encourages applicants under the age of 30 from developing countries for master’s degrees, and applicants under the age of 35 from developing and industrialized countries for priority areas of education for future foreign decision-makers in the private and public sectors also allows at the doctoral level.

Scholarship covers:

The Eiffel Scholarship for a master’s degree includes a monthly allowance of € 1,181 (a financial allowance of € 1,031 and a monthly stipend of € 150) and can be paid for a period of 12-36 months. The Eiffel Scholarship for PhD research includes a monthly allowance of 1,400 euros and is provided for a maximum period of 12 months.

In addition, the program covers a variety of costs, including international costs, national and local transportation, health insurance, and cultural activities. Retirees can also receive additional housing under certain conditions.

Tuition is not paid by the Eiffel Program. The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs expects students to receive the best financial support from educational institutions whose international reputation has been enhanced by this program. Students admitted to public schools are as free to study as French government scholarship holders.

Professional project, one or two pages. Unlike the applicant country, he / she must explain the reasons for studying in France, his / her interest in the chosen program and how it will help him / her to achieve his / her career goals and objectives.

Academic records of all years of higher education (including periods spent in exchange programs abroad)

Brief about scholarship:

ENS de Lyon and its partners offer scholarships to excellent international students to enter master’s programs in the exact sciences, arts and humanities and social sciences (other than the FEADép Master’s programs).

Scholarship covers:

The pension is 1,000 euros per month for 1-2 years.

Name of the scholarship: 2019 – 2023 Azerbaijan Government Program Scholarship for PhD

Brief about scholarship:

In order to strengthen the academic capacity of Azerbaijani higher education institutions, it is the priority of the DP Scholarship to provide training for doctoral students at the world’s top universities. To apply to scholarship, you must obtain admission from a university, which must be in the top 500 according to the Times Higher Education.

Name of the scholarship: Paris-Sekley International Scholarship

Brief about scholarship:

The Université Paris-Saclay aims to encourage the entry of international students into master’s programs provided by faculties, component institutes and affiliated universities, and to facilitate the admission of highly qualified international students, especially those seeking development.

Scholarship covers:

The Université Paris-Saclay scholarship is 10,000 euros per year. It is paid by the institution where the candidate is registered during the academic year and for a period of not less than 10 consecutive months (September-June). A maximum of € 1,000 is charged for travel and VISA, depending on the country of origin of the candidate.

These scholarships are awarded for a period of 1 or 2 years, depending on the level of admission (M1 or M2), and are awarded to students who complete the number of credits required to advance to the next year’s level.

Procedure of the scholarship:

1) Selected students will automatically be sent a link via email to an online application form.

After receiving this e-mail, students wishing to apply must fill out an online application form and provide two references (supervisor, professor, internship coordinator …) who wish to provide a reference for the candidate. .

2) Each of the two references mentioned by the candidate will be sent by e-mail to one online recommendation form. Please fill out and submit the form by the deadline of the scholarship call.

Candidates will be automatically notified when they submit each reference form.

3) Application documents for the scholarship are considered complete when both recommendation forms are submitted.

Note: The candidate will not receive a message confirming the completion of the application.

It is up to the candidate to ensure that both references are complete and to submit the form within the time specified in the invitation e-mail.

Incomplete or applications received after the deadline will be automatically rejected.

Brief about scholarship:

Full-time programme offered since 2005 by: Universität des Saarlandes (Saarbrücken – Germany), Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine – EEIGM (Nancy – France); Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (Barcelona – Spain); and Luleå Tekniska Universitet (Luleå – Sweden). The consortium has a long experience (20 years of collaboration within the EEIGM) and also offers the Erasmus Mundus Doctoral programme DocMASE.

Scholarship covers:

Selection Criteria:

Previous studies in Materials Science
Students should have previous study experience in areas relevant to Materials Science and Engineering. The ranking goes as follows:  

  • Materials Science, Materials Engineering
  • Physics, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical, Electronic, Civil Engineering, etc. 

With degrees in Civil Engineering, Telecommunications, Textile Engineering, Design, Architecture, Computational Science, Informatics you will not be entitled to scholarships and only be accepted in exceptional cases.

Language knowledge
Good command of the language of the Entrance University is a precondition for the programme. It is advantageous that you also know the language of the Second University. If this is not the case, you should be willing to learn it.

Motivation
It is also important that you are highly motivated to complete the AMASE programme. You can prove this by a well-written motivation letter on why you want to join the programme (1 page max.).

Former work experiences
Experience in research and development at universities and/or in the industry can also be advantageous and should be mentioned in your application. These experiences can be internships, jobs, project work, etc.

Language knowledge for Entrance University: 
Sufficient knowledge of the language of instruction of the Entrance University (at least a EU- B2 level, see grading of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Language knowledge for Second University:
At least some basic knowledge of the language at the Second University is required. You can also apply without any knowledge, but be aware that the courses will be held in the local language. It is therefore advisable to start learning the second language as soon as possible.

Name of the scholarship: Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Aquaculture, Environment and Society Plus (EMJMD ACES\ACES+)

Brief about scholarship:

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Aquaculture, Environment and Society Plus (EMJMD ACES+) will give you a unique opportunity to study in up to four centres of European excellence in aquaculture research and learning; Scotland, Crete, France and the Netherlands. It will also allow you to gain the practical and theoretical skills needed for a successful career in aquaculture through industry-led research programmes, internships and fieldwork.

Eligibility requirements:

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in AquaCulture, Environment and Society (EMJMD ACES+) is open to students who meet the following minimum conditions: Bachelor degree (or equivalent; second class or higher at Honours level) in one of the fields of biological or environmental sciences. An appropriate background could include; aquaculture-related studies, marine science and/or resources, aquatic biology, biology, or environmental sciences linked to the field of marine science and fisheries; and

For non-UK students, a Secure English Language Test (i.e. IELTS) certificate (applicants must achieve an overall score of 6.5 in this test and a minimum of 6.0 in all four components). Please note, if IELTS test centres in your country remain closed due to COVID-19, then we recommend you take the LanguageCert International Communicator ESOL B2. This test can be done online and you should not be required to do another IELTS test in the event travel bans are lifted or IELTS test centres re-open.

We particularly welcome applications from mature students and/or those with practical working experience in the aquaculture industry.

Brief about scholarship:

The “MA Advanced Development in Social Work” (ADVANCES) offers advanced social work training in response to the requirements of an increasingly complex and globalized world. It will develop the knowledge and skills of qualified social workers by uniting the expertise of five leading European universities and a number of academic and non-academic associate partners in Europe and beyond. The consortium is working closely together and all initiatives are discussed and decided in common. All partners have participated in an ongoing and successful master degree Erasmus mundus programme. Name of the scholarship: Copernicus Master in Digital Earth

Brief about scholarship:

 The European “Copernicus Master in Digital Earth” aims at qualifying individuals to lead initiatives, projects and institutions translating Copernicus services into management decisions within a broader Digital Earth vision.Digital Earth is a concept well established since 1998, focusing on the interaction between humans and virtual representations of our world from local to global scales. More recently, this concept has gained traction as a framework for leveraging geospatial technologies for better management of our societies, environments and economies. Quoting the 2009 Beijing DE Declaration: “Digital Earth is an integral part of advanced technologies including: earth observation, geo-information systems, global positioning systems, communication networks, sensor webs, electromagnetic identifiers, virtual reality, grid computation, etc. It is seen as a global strategic contributor to scientific and technological developments, and will be a catalyst in finding solutions to international scientific and societal issues.”The EU Earth Observation Programme Copernicus offers information services based on satellite and in situ acquired geospatial data. Open data access has greatly enhanced the potential for realizing a range of societal benefits, the proposed Joint Master Programme addresses the associated capacity building needs on a graduate level.

General Criteria for Admission

In order to be admitted to the CDE master’s programme, students must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a GEOSPATIAL DISCIPLINE or from an equivalent programme at an internationally recognised tertiary educational institution, corresponding to at least 180 ECTS (6 semesters) AND the admission by the CDE consortium of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree programme.

Brief about scholarship:

The Master Economics of Globalisation and European Integration (EGEI) is a two-year program fully taught in English. It is organised in a truly global learning environment, where the diverse cultural background of students, recruited at global level, is combined with mobility in at least three countries and teachers from different EU and extra-EU countries. This makes the EGEI master a unique learning and life experience. The master aims at preparing graduates who can meet an increasing demand for academically trained economists who have solid knowledge and the advanced skills to understand globalisation dynamics and economic integration. Graduates are prepared for pursuing excellence in academic research as well as to contribute to policy recommendations or business strategies in the public and private sector. The aims of EGEI Master are achieved by combining different disciplines, namely economics, laws and business, with learning of research methods and data analysis. A blending of traditional and innovative teaching and learning methods ensures continuous involvement of the students in the program and development of critical soft skills.
